Musicians Inventory Manufacturer Pages
Some may know who invented the wheel, but most don't. They just want to know who makes a good one and who sells it.

I don't think my experience with gear has been much different than anyone else's. Perhaps different levels of access and needs, but the basic patterns are probably the same in most. Decide what you'd like to play, pick up a decent, or even shabby piece to start with and let the cycle develop. Once you find your self picking up the techniques or beginning to develop your own, you also find yourself wanting to upgrade.

So what do you do? You upgrade of course. After spending decades experiencing this, I have grown to know how important quality manufacturers are. I don't want to have to re invent the wheel, I just want to buy one and have a great selection to choose from.

And we do have just that. A wide array of products within the musical equipment industry and due to the digital age; an ever growing list of quality manufacturers, publishers and support service providers.

As a producer and bass guitar player with a private studio I built from ground up, I can tell you about the pitfalls resulting from lack of knowledge. First of all, it's expensive. So learn more.

I think it is a wonderful approach for Musicians Inventory to establish the importance of the manufacturer. Many pieces of used gear that I have purchased, have led to the purchase of another piece similar, or another piece by the same manufacturer. Had I had faster access to information, I would have bought faster. I probably would have bought the right product the first time around as well.

Musicians Inventory provides a nice venue for musical equipment auctions. Reaching out to manufacturers to participate as the only form of external advertising places the focus where it should be, on the buyers and sellers needs. Educating the buyer attracts quality sellers representing quality products.

And you know what else is nice? If a manufacturer spots a misrepresentation in a posted listing or any where else on the site, the listing comes down. We all benefit.~ Duck Thomas

Working hand-in-hand to enhance product knowledge levels

Knowledge is a good thing. Sometimes spreading it is difficult.

We know there are many auction sites on the Internet. There are not many that focus on what we do and very few that pull it off successfully. It has to be an open community, one that encompasses all aspects of the industry.
